4 week Introduction to Meditation Course
This four-week course is the ideal place to begin if you are new to meditation.
If you’re anxious, stressed, overtired, overwhelmed, or tend to overthink, this course will equip you with techniques to help manage the thoughts and emotions that contribute to these states. You will learn how to relax your body, calm your mind and rest deeply whenever you need to. The course also introduces strategies for developing better focus and for thinking clearly and creatively.
The course will be mostly practice-based with some theory each week, providing a good understanding of what meditation is, how it works, and how to do it. Over the 4 evenings you will learn a range of meditation techniques that are simple, enjoyable and effective. During the course we will cover meditations on the breath and body, as well as sounds, movement and simple visualisations. The intention is to enable you to discover ways of meditating that suit your particular needs and lifestyle.
